History and Philosopy
I grew up with a father who was a structural Engineer, journeyman carpenter, cabinet maker, luthier and musician. I made my first double neck electric in the 60's. I love tools and believe that the Golden age Master's would have used any tool that would have made life easier for them. I use Master grade Engleman Spruce from British Columbia and German Spruce (when available). I don't experiment with back and side woods, and use only the best traditional woods available. I build in three styles, Hauser, Fleta and my own. I'm taking my retirement a little more seriously these days and I don't take orders for guitars anymore. I produce 2 or 3 a year and you can contact me to see If I have one available. Base price is $4800 and goes up from there depending on the wood and hardware.......... I am officially retired now and the last guitar left my shop December, 2013. Thank you for your support over the years Well........ I still got that special wood I've been saving for a couple of decades, maybe just a couple more.......... Daryl Buddecke
